Your Tabs Hub can be configured as either a wireless router or as a Wi-Fi extender. Wireless routers allow you to create a new Wi-Fi network with its own name and password. Wi-Fi extenders do not create a network; instead they boost the range of an existing network created by another wireless router. This can be useful for providing full Wi-Fi coverage for larger homes.
During your initial Hub set up, you will be asked to configure your Hub as a router (Set Up New Wi-Fi network) or as a Wi-Fi Extender. You can also change this configuration after your Hub has been set up.
Note: Your Hub must be configured as a Wireless router in order to use Tabs Parental Controls.
